we are loading the car with winter gear. snowboards. skis. and ..
heading to {copper mountain}.
I’m a skier. and have been skiing since 7 years old. I tried to snowboard once. my brother promised to show my dad & I the ropes. he didn’t. instead he left us at the top of the mountain, alone. it was 8 below. and I was face first in the snow, the entire time. for two hours. when my dad & I finally had enough. and bellied up to the bar for the rest of the day!
[pre-hitting the slopes. I was optimistic].
[J], on the other hand, is a snowboarder. we’ve never hit the slopes together. I can’t wait. we’ve been to colorado with each other [at the wee stages of our relationship]. but during the summer.
