a sunday story.

sundays are for sleeping in.

so, I slept in. and proceeded to wake up starving. with panera on the brain.

I got up. partially engaged in my morning routine [teeth brush, face wash, etc]. I then stopped thinking about my appearance and only about bagels. headband on, yoga pants, tank with bra straps exposed, no make-up ..I ventured out in public. looking like this:

[warning: every single window was down, but my hair was like that without wind].

I saw my reflection in the dunkin donuts drive thru window [our iced coffee stop] and was honestly frightened ..and shocked.

[J]’s responses:

“you look like a crazy lady”.

and ..

“you actually look like you just got done working out. which you definitely did not, unless you count getting out of bed”.

welp, these are the times when I feel for celebrities. you have to get fully ready before your sunday morning bagel run OR suffer the consequence [your “fresh out of bed” look splashed on the front page of magazines]. ouch!!

if I was a celebrity, this would be in US Weekly today:

fashion faux pas: was it worth it?

duh, it was panera :)

thank goodness for not running into a single person I knew that morning. for not taking my shades off once. and for not being a celebrity.

[the day did involve a shower. no need to worry. it just took place AFTER my coffee & bagel].

happy monday.
and cheers to being shameless :)
