trail mix. to tempt your sweet side!

many of the things I do are preceded by “how did you NOT think of that before?” [example: brewing iced coffee at home. hellllllo!] Today different.

I love snacks. especially at work. And if I bring from home, they’re more likely to be healthy options. One of my go to’s: trail mix. But there’s always ONE or TWO things I don’t like in the store bought packages.

So I made my own. HELLUVA idea. Should’ve/could’ve thought of it before!

My ingredients:

  • Plain almonds
  • Plain peanuts
  • Butter toffee cashews
  • Yogurt covered raisins

Match made in trail mix heaven.

dump everything into a bowl. give it a stir. divide into snack bags [I did 1/2 cup in each, & it was a “hefty” amount].

And viola ..a snack SURE to be enjoyed:)
